this is one of my ideas for my christmas project

5) Ariel - another idea is to have her as a dancer up on pointe with her feet

project proposal : 

my aims for this project are to help me with my ideas with my final mayor project and this idea i have had in my head for ages and i really wanted to give it ago and see if it actually works with the the ideas in my head and see if they bland well together with it in photo form and the ideas that are in my head.

i will shoot this project in many diffrent locations but mainly around where i live as it will be easier to shoot rather then going all the way round everywhere trying to find a good location. 

equipment : 

- digital camera 

- tripod 

- light metre 

- reflector

I have taken influence from Disney and how they would react in the real world and how they would react in the real world. I have i have also taken influence from the photographer Dina Goldstein who did a series called fallen princesses her work is quite inspirational. also i have taken influence from Annie Lebovitz with her Disney shoots .

i want to make the lighting quite soft as i want it to look quite fantasy even though the photos are not the Disney like i will try both soft and hard sharp lighting. 

the mood i want to create in my photos is quite realistic like what you would see everyday but to show the little things that show they are disney characters like the colours or some of the props

review of summer project

shoot 1 (my holiday shoot) :

this shoot was part of my holiday photos and i really like they turned out the street shoots worked really well as the areas we went to where really old towns and look really old and looked really effective on the photos. most of the photos where of people some i didn’t know like this one i didn’t know the girl who was sitting there but i thought that the way she was sitting there looked really nice within the atmosphere of the old ethnic side street.

i also really like the some of the plant photography that i took like this one i really like the colour within the image the colours are all green including the background but the flowers look really colourful compared to the green leafs. the lights look really effective as you can see where the light is coming from.

shoot 2 ( cousins wedding) : 

 i love shooting my cousins wedding even though i wasn’t the main photographer i loved shooting the aspects of the wedding that the photographer might not of seen (like the this photo). this photograph was taken at a moment where the photographer was in front of the girls so i went behind where they where all looking at something in the opposite direction.

there are other things that where the main moments like when they trough the confetti ( like this one ) i love it even in black and white i tried it in colour and it didn’t work very well so in colour so i made it black and white and it worked better. i really like the expressions on both of there faces and i really like the angle that i was shooting on it was a low angle but not too low so they look like they have more priority to the other people and the confetti in the air works really well all  around them.

i really like this photo of the flowers and it looks beautiful and i like the way that some of the flowers are in focus and some of them are out and i just really like the little hints of green within the white flowers.

overall evaluation


i think that this project went well because i think that the photos came out better then i expected it to. the youtube tutorials help so much and supported me so much and lead me through each step but i did add my own individuality to it.

i believe that this project was a success because the photos look really good destroyed and the portraits worked really well overall especially with the umbrella the backdrop really works well with the white backdrop. of the umbrella.

i feel that i could improve this project by maybe redoing my self portrait of the double exposure i feel that i could improve it and maybe add some colour to it as well as maybe adding some more of the scene in the bottom of the photo rather then all at the top of it.

i feel my researched was helpful because the way that they are laid out helped me picture what i wanted my destroyed photos to look like layered and also unique.

evaluation:

I think that this destroyed image went well because i really like the white background with the colours work really well with the strips of grey as well is really effective also with some of the sketch also works really well.

i believe that this destroyed image was a success because the colours and also having the strips of the grey work really well with the white background and the hints of yellow works really well with the image as a whole. 

i feel i could improve this destroyed image by doing some more sketch parts in the image as well as adding a variety of diffrent colours and overlaying some of the colours so adding some hints of blue in with the red. 

self portrait and destroyed photos 

evaluation:

i think that this destroyed self-portrait went well because i really like how the image turned out. the imaged worked really well in the black and white the dark blues in the top work really well in black and white and contrast really well with the lake by the left arm. i also like the use of the umbrella with some of the trees and the background image works really well on the umbrella. 

i believe that this destroyed image was a success because the top works really well with the rest of the backdrop. 

i feel that i could improve this destroyed photo by adding some more colour into it rather then just having it black and white also have some more of the background image at the bottom of the image rather then just at the top
